Here's something odd, have you ever seen two extremely short-haired golden retrievers?  These are what we refer to as ''lion cuts''.  On the left is Maggie, Dr. Fulmer's dog, and on the right is her counterpart Jessie, who belongs to Dr. Fulmer's mother-in-law.  Both of which are very proud of their new hairstyles as they try to beat the summer heat.

This is an up close picture of a red-tail hawk under anesthetics.  He was brought to us with a broken wing.  Once repaired, he was taken over to St. Joseph's Wildlife Refuge for further evaluation and rehabilitation.
